Philipp and Tanja work as teachers at the same school. Both have great fun working with the students and try not only to stubbornly follow the curriculum, but also to gain the trust of their students. Their shared enjoyment of the profession allows the two to become closer in private. Tanja falls in love with Philpp and is happy in the relationship. Philipp also feels comfortable around her, but an encounter with a childhood friend reminds him of his homosexuality. His parents had tried to suppress this at the time. Philipp finally meets Matthias in a gay bar. The two men fall passionately in love with each other.
