After moving to a new city, eight-year-old Meral finds it difficult to make friends at school. Until she makes friends with a mouse, which quickly becomes the key to new contacts. Only when an owl grabs the mouse does the whole new world begin to totter. Together with her new friends, Meral goes on a search for the rodent, which in the end brings one thing above all else to light: the true meaning of friendship.
