Instead of pursuing her acting dreams, pretty escort girl Izzy (Imogen Poots) shimmies from one job to the next. Her money worries are suddenly a thing of the past, when a gallant customer, lothario and Broadway director Arnold (Owen Wilson), gives her a chunk of money to get her a little closer to a glamorous film career. When Izzy auditions for a role with him, Arnold is not amused. The two main actors, his wife Delta (Kathryn Hahn) and his buddy Seth Gilbert (Rhys Ifans), however, feel quite delighted. When Izzy then starts dating the play's author, who turns out to be the partner of her psychotherapist (Jennifer Aniston), chaos is inevitable.
