The award-winning documentary tells the story of the royal parks around the Glienicke Bridge during the time of the German division. The unique cultural landscape, the Prussian Arcadia, was located in the German-German border area. Wall and barbed wire were pulled, sight and shot fields cleared. Over 35 hectares of historic parks were destroyed by the border troops of the GDR. In the film, the then responsible gardeners have their say. They report on their attempt to protect the garden art works entrusted to them against the destruction by the border, and of the magnificent healing of the later UNESCO world heritage after the fall of the Berlin Wall. The film received the German Monument Protection Award 2017.
